At present, there is a surging consumption boom in the catering industry. However, the existing gas safety issues have always been of great concern to society. In order to improve the overall safety level of catering places, State Grid Nanjing Power Supply Company has taken the lead in implementing the "replacing gas cylinders with electricity" work in Xinjiekou Street to safeguard the "vitality of the city".

Xinjiekou Street in Nanjing is located in the city's commercial center. There are many merchants along the street, a large number of people, and a large electricity load. This place has always been the focus of the electricity safety transformation of State Grid Nanjing Power Supply Company. However, due to reasons such as insufficient exploitable load capacity of transformers and closed and narrow spaces, it has become a tough "hard nut to crack".

At the end of April this year, the Second Power Supply Service Center of State Grid Nanjing Power Supply Company was established. Taking "refined grid and micro-grid" as the driving force, through the government-enterprise integration system of "grid + public service", it fully promotes the implementation of the "replacing gas cylinders with electricity" project in Xinjiekou grid. On the basis of strengthening the public service model of collaborative co-construction with streets, through multiple consultations, give full play to the advantages of all parties to jointly promote the standardized implementation of the project.

It is understood that compared with bottled liquefied gas cookers, "all-electric kitchen utensils" adopt an overheating (overload) protection device, with a thermal efficiency of up to 90%. The use cost is reduced by more than 40%. While being energy-saving and environmentally friendly, it also fundamentally solves the safety hazards existing in safety conditions and operation specifications of gas-using equipment, and effectively guarantees the property safety of the people and the public environment.
